Postcards of the Straits of Mackinac

Many people traveled throughout the region and travel across the Straits of Mackinac. Prior to 1957 the car ferries were the only method to travel from the lower pennisula to the upper pennisula of Michigan. Many of the vacationers sent postcard to their friends and families telling of their wonderful trip across the Straits of Mackinac. Here are some of the wonderful postcards and the comments from the people who sent them.
